Staying in the know to sniff out the right buys

Former army officer Ryner Koh decided to be a real estate agent in late 2011 and hit the jackpot in his first year, earning $700,000 in sales commissions.

"I worked 16 hours a day, using my skills to add value for clients. I closed 38 transactions in Archipelago condominium, over 20 transactions in V on Shenton, and (a few) other projects," he recalls.
